Through practice, we can  become psychic. Did you know that?

Sunday I managed to catch all of Jacob’s pee’s [lingo].

It might not seem like a big deal. But here’s the scoop. The kid wasn’t in a diaper all day. It was sunny and he spent a lot of the day outside with no pants, but we also had parties to go to as well. I don’t know when it happened, but I totally love having the kid not in diapers. When I hold him , I can feel his body against mine. Which is great. We have such a narrow time in our lives when we can be this close.

I like that I am in tune with the kid. We are on the trip together. And though he knows the score, he still has a way to go. So a lot of our working together means I’ve got to be on target with how he is holding his body.

Soon, in a few months he will be telling me he has to go pee before he actually does it on the floor.

How do I know this? Today, he gave me the ASL sign for pee as he was going pee.
